I might be throwing gas on a fire I don't even particularly want to light--but do you think that's a mistake Singer made because he's not wired to think of the actual specs of being preg? I mean, I would *never* have asked a reader/viewer to buy Lois having no memory of the conception of her own child (lady's smart--has she not had a damn paternity test??), but I'm thinking that has less to do with being female and more because I wouldn't ever hinge so huge a plot point on such crappy logic. (spoilerage to follow)
